  1. It all looks lovely. Sue do you put lemon juice on your apples before putting them in the dehydrator?

  2. thanks Rose, I used to add lemon juice but now don't worry about it. The kids don't care what colour they are.

  4. What a pretty mug to start the day.

My kid's never cared what color the dried fruit was either, they just ate away. My dehydrator died last year, but there are plans for a new one soon.

  6. Mmm... thanks for sharing your week. I think we have the same dehydrator and we used it so much last fall. We are still enjoying dried apples and pears... it will be great to have them later on.

    1. yes Heather that is what it is. I do this for quicker cooking but also the kids don't pick it out as they do with sliced carrot sometimes.

  12. What an amazing selection of tomatoes. I love all the different colours and sizes. A couple of years ago a good blogger friend sent me some seeds from Australia for Black Russian Heritage Tomatoes. I couldn't wait for them to germinate and then the fruit appear, grow and then ripen. They looked amazing, almost too good to ear. Your soup and seed roll look scrummy...I think I need to get some lunch...
    Thanks for sharing,
