PROJECT LIFE - MINI ALBUMS

Well I have to say I have fallen in love with Becky Higgins Project Life mini albums.   I first saw one of these albums for real at my friend Christine's home while we where in Adelaide in May. I loved the quality and feel of it but something I didn't think I would like was the fixed number of pages.   I usually prefer to make an album as small or big as I like, but having the page limit has been refreshing as I was able to work to those constraints and know that it all had to fit in those 40 pages.

I am making the pink album my childhood album, this one is tricky as I have a very limited amount of photos to fill it but then I got to thinking of all of my memories I have of growing up and I don't have any doubt the album will be full of journaling before I know it.

Here are a few pages:

The green album is from a snow family holiday we took 5 years ago.  I had never done anything with the photos and thought this album would be perfect for it.  This is a hybrid album focusing on the digital element.

I think I see a few more of these albums in my future.

Thanks for looking.

  4. I LOVE this album! I really want to try to get some scrapbooking done in this "style", I feel like maybe more would get accomplished. I'm just not really sure how to get started. I love flipping through the scrapbook magazines for inspiration and there just aren't many with is type of scrapbooking.

I agree with Sue Brown, I would love to have you as a teacher..... Really love all the crafts you make :)

  5. Jen Project Life is so easy to get started. All you need is some pocket page protectors, photos and some cards to journal on, the rest is up to you. It's so quick and you really get to tell the story.
