PATCHWORK FLOOR RUG

I woke up this morning with a sudden urge to create a floor rug to go on the tiles under the kitchen sink.
Luckly I had a stash of Denyse Schmidt fabrics in home decorator weight cotton on hand and some non slip backing in the cupboard.
Here's the finished product and it feels lovely under my feet while doing the dishes.

The real test will be tonight when Heidi is let in.

It came to mind when I read the last part of your post - letting Heidi in! :) (i read about it over on ihaveanotion.blogspot.com if you're curious)
