I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas, we did. We had a nice casual bbq for lunch at our home with my parents and 1 of my sisters, then a leftovers dinner at Darren's sister's home.
The day went quickly, the kids had fun, I didn't eat too much (I'm so glad for that) and Sophie is already asking when it will be Christmas again. LOL.
I received some practical gifts this year that I really wanted like an external hard-drive for my 12000 photos to get them off my computer, a hose for the garden that doesn't kink, a set of sheets, a pasta maker and this book I have wanted since it became available a couple of months ago and the pretty stand it is sitting on.
I went down to Spotlight today to spend my Christmas money and this is what I got. These fabrics were all just $2.00/metre, how could I resist?

Yes the food did look good and as we checked it out Willow kept saying, "oh how lucky! I wish I could eat that.... It looks yummy" I am translating of course because everything she said was in Japanese.
