ZAKKA STYLE

I have been meaning to make up a new wallet for myself for ages and the one in Zakka Style appealed to me.

I've used my favourite Echino fabric with other cotton/linen blends and a cotton word print for the binding.

I made up a cute little matching card holder to slip inside the wallet as I have lots of cards.

I might still add a wrist strap if I can be bothered picking the binding apart, we'll see.

  2. This is so cute!! I want that book now. I love that. Wow!! I'm just in love with it.

ryn: Gumbo is a southern/Louisiana thing. My hubby is from Louisiana. Its a soup consistancy that is made with whatever you have available as a protein (mostly seafood items or sausauge) and then you make a flour/butter consistancy base for the soup and add in corn, okra, and stuff like that. You serve it on rice. Good stuff. Mostly you see seafood gumbo or chicken/sausage gumbo. lol Just incase you were interested. haha
