FIRST FINISHED PROJECT OF THE YEAR

EDITED:: I've had a couple of comments about crocheting in the heat and yes it was 40+ degrees today but we have an old Mt Gambier limestone home and is actually quite cool inside. We don't have an airconditioner as our home only heats up for about 2 days a year.

I am so happy with my new cushion. I will make a grey cover for the insert tonight as I think that will look nicer than the old white insert I have at the moment.

  1. Well done. I love it. Always wanted to make a whole quilt using colourful granny squares. I hope you are in air-conditioning. I hear it was 42C there today

  3. Lovely Sue.
I crochet in the heat too. Usually plonk myself in front of the fan and go for it. In the summer I choose to do small projects. Motifs dish/face cloths that sort of thing. Winter time if for sewing the motifs together for a big blanket

  4. Sue haven't you just started crocheting? You are doing brilliantly!

I knit in the heat which people find surprising.

  5. Gorgeous Sue :-) I knit in the heat, and drink hot coffee, too :-) In fact, I find a hot cup of tea to be most refreshing in hot weather!!
