IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN.....

When the scrap basket is overflowing and there's quilts to be made with those scraps.

I love scrap quilts, they make me smile with all of the different fabric combinations and the memories of what the fabrics were used for in other projects.

With these scraps I will be making a "quilt as you go" log cabin. One of my favorite quilts to show off scraps.

Here's my pile I'm starting with (there's plenty more still in the basket)

The blocks are 12" x 12". I'm not sure how big I will make this quilt, probably pretty big :)

  1. They look great! Just preparing a similar block in greens and blues to send out to my bee. It looks fantastic in scrap though too!!

  2. I'm hoping to be able to sew well enough to make a scrap quilt next year. Good luck with yours!
