Well Sue, I like both option 2 and 3. they both look fantastic. With option 3 , no matter what part of the quilt you see, you will still see some of the spots.
I would go with a combination of two and three, as I am sure you want to use your circles. And with the combination I would do a concentration of circles on the bottom with a few scattered upwards on the quilt. A concentration of bubbles on a bit of an angle near the bottom with a few heading upwards towards the surface. Sorry if you didn't want a new option.
Ok - this is my first visit here, but I'll put in my 2 cents - Number 1. Very nice bend of shapes, prints and colors. I also kind of like Number 2...but not sure about the pink.
What a fun quilt! I like the colors in the stripes and I like the idea of circles. I'm wondering what solid colors would look like? Might be a nice contrast to the pattern in the stripes?
I don't know if I get a vote since I'm not a quilter, but I follow Naptime Quilter's blog regularly and she mentioned this post so I had to come over and check it out. Number one is by far my favorite. I LOVE it. Perfectly modern and simple. Now I'm going back to your blog to see if you've posted any progress...
I think Option 1. Love your colour combinations. Don't think it needs the extras. Lovely as it is. And that's my 2 cents worth!
ReplyDeleteI personally like Option 2 the best. I like the scattered look, like daffodils in a lawn.
ReplyDeletehmm. 1 is great, 2 is greater, 3 is the greatest. Ah, the circle cutter. Did you add stabalizer before cutting the circles?
ReplyDeleteOption 2 is my favorite :)
ReplyDeleteI think i'd do option 1 because I'm lazy, but I'm sure you'll whip up something that looks great so I'll go option 2 for you

hmm, I'm liking option 2 best, but they're all great Sue!
ReplyDeleteI'm liking option 2, and I also completely agree with what Lisa Dawn said :)
ReplyDeleteI really like option 1 the best because it is just clean, simple, and modern looking and when quilting is added, it would look just right!
ReplyDeleteI like option 2
ReplyDeleteI love option 2, with the circles kind of clustered. Really awesome.
ReplyDeleteHere was my reaction as I scrolled down.
ReplyDelete1) Ooo. I like it.
2) Oh! I like that too!
3) Oooooo I LOVE it!

ReplyDeleteI think #2 but with perhaps a few more and extend the circles a little further!
ReplyDeleteI thought I would like option 2 the best, but I really keep coming back to 3 as my favorite!
ReplyDeleteCool quilt!
