Haaa ha ha ha... SO funny! If I had to wait till all the chores are done and do all that I'd never get a stitch done! Thanks for posting that, I had a good laugh!!
love it. i'm constatntly fearful that my husband may come home and i'm not neatly put together... lol I like their game plan though, I may have to give it a go and see what happens.
Oohhh tooo funny! If that poor singer sewing manual only knew what I looked like half the time when sewing!!! hee hee... i find my most creative times and the feeling of FREEDOM to be acheived when sewing in my jammies, with bed head in a pony tail, no makeup and no bra! ROFL!!!!!! It's a dang good thing I wasn't a wife in the early 50's!!
oh, now that's hilarious!!! Thanks for sharing that Sue! I agree with Ruby Star though, I should try what they're dishing out sometime! Maybe it would make a difference!
As I say to people I have 8 cats one parent a partner and a mutt named jack. we are in the middle of moving best that they can hope fro is that I am dressed and the kettles on lol all the best Rachel Plymouth Devon England
Thanks for posting that--I seldom think of myself as rebellious--but I will admit that on the days (usually Saturdays scattered here and there throughout the year), one of my great joys is spending the day in my pajamas sewing, not worrying about how I look, and not worrying about unfinished housework! Quilts last longer than clean houses! Hmmmm...wonder who wrote that advice...and if s/he is still alive.

ReplyDeleteGosh, that's what I;m doing wrong. I;m trying to create in a grubby, messy house without my lipstick and powder on. Explains it all really.

ReplyDeleteAh, there are so many reasons why I'm happy to be born when I was, haha!
ReplyDelete(PS - don't tell Singer that I usually sew in my underwear....it makes trying things on so much easier!)

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely hilarious. So glad those days are gone! Clean up first? I think NOT! I would never get to sew.
