The snail mail type.

I ordered two patterns from Emily at Carolina Patchworks around 1 1/2 months ago and patiently waited 3 weeks for them to arrive. Unfortunately they are probably making a couple of world trips and who knows if they will ever arrive. Anyway, I contacted Emily who graciously put a new set in the mail for me and they arrived today. I can't wait to start these patterns, something I don't normally buy as I like to make up my own but these are a challenge, something I need right now. I'm still having a finishing off month so they may have to wait a little longer.

I whipped up these box pouches for Sophie and Lachie last night, they both wanted one to hold their treasures in and of course Lachie wanted skulls.

  1. yeah yeah..... just whipped them up..... lol
they are really cute. and your kids are so lucky their mom can just whip these things up!

  2. Your new patterns look great - especially the one on the left! Your little pouches are lovely - perfect for storing treasures in.

  3. I've been eyeing that "Brick in the Wall" pattern for months!!! Its one of my favs... let me know how it whips up?!!!

  4. I love Emily's patterns and your post just reminded me that I have faved these two to order. Off to Etsy I go...

  5. well dear done it again! love those treasure pockets - too cute!

  6. Looks like some fun projects in the works. I'm not a pattern person myself, but those look like some fun quilts.

Hi, I love reading your comments and if I don't reply to all of them, please know I appreciate every one.
