THIS WEEK
Project Life is on hold until my new page protectors finally turn up next week. I have the photos waiting, but nothing to put them in.
I make up little file folders to hold Christmas memories dating back to Daniel's first Christmas but have never been happy with the box they sit in. You see, I can't close it and that really annoys me. I was at Target yesterday and found a cute recipe folder that looked like the perfect size to hold my memories.

I've started a new and exciting project to hold those memories that don't fit on a 12" x 12" layout. Interestingly enough, a few weeks ago I bought a concertina folder for a scrapbooking project, then last night while blog surfing, I came across Heidi Swapp's new products that involved just what I was thinking about. Weird hey?
She of couse gave me many ideas about how to use this box and folders, I only had the basic idea in my head. This morning I cut 1" off some pretty folders I had sitting around, rounded the cut corner and popped them into my concertina folder. Stay tuned as to what I will be doing with them!!!!

NEW STOOL COVER
This is my second stool cover and I think it will hold up much better than the first. I had only learnt how to crochet a couple of days before I made the first cover and now it's looking pretty daggy and stretched as I didn't use the corect hook or stitch.
This cover I love and I think I will make the others in the same ganny stitch.

QUILTED TUMBLER BAG
I had some tumbler blocks left over from a quilt, I pulled them out yesterday and made a bag.
It has a zip closure and pockets in the lining. I was going to sell it at my market stall next month, but am really liking it and just may keep it for myself.

HERE KITTY KITTY..........
Brought to you by SUE*SEWN {{ORGANICS}}
After sourcing organic fabrics, threads and stuffing I am finally ready to start making my organic products. These kittens are a start but there are so many more ideas floating around in my head.

PROGRESS OF SORTS.....
When summer looks like this:
My mind turns to this:
I had hoped to be finished before winter but it turns out winter is already here!

SLOWLY, SLOWLY.......
I've barely touched my sewing machine this year. There's been a lot going on and frankly, I've lost some sewing mojo. I'm not complaining, I think I really needed a break to learn new crafts and try out different things.
Crochet has really got me hooked!!! I see so many opportunities to create different, unique, pretty things.
I did begin cutting and sewing up another zigzag quilt from a stack of fabric I pulled out a while ago, it's a start but I just need the enthusiasm to keep going, sigh......
Speaking of trying new things, I have signed up for Joanne Sharpe's Letter Love class. I have always wanted to learn cool funky lettering and this class is going to be awesome.
