P!NK ALBUM IS FINISHED

I have enjoyed every minute of making this album, it's taken a while (the concert was July 30 2009).
The pages were cut from chipboard and album has been bound in velvet and waxed leather.
There were far too many photos to put them on here, so instead I have linked the album to here (click on the photos over at Flickr for a better view and remember to go back another page to see them all, as I said, there's a lot of photos).
Please go and have a look and let me know what you think, it's been quite a journey.

ETSY BUSY

Aside from everyone in the family being sick, I have managed to keep myself busy by preparing new goodies for my soon to be up and running Etsy store.
Lots of yummy coasters and napkins are being made as we speak.

Have a lovely weekend everyone, mine will be filled with whinging sick kids and hopefully lots of sewing.

BLOGGERS QUILT FESTIVAL

Here is my entry, I made this quilt a couple of years ago, it's my own design and it's my warm, snuggly winter quilt.

I bought the fabrics while on our first holiday to the snow and wanted to make a quilt to remember this holiday. Unfortunately I didn't have enough of one of the fabrics but when my Mother and Father In Laws saw how much fun we had at the snow, they booked a holiday for the next month and I asked them to get me some more as it was an old line and I couldn't find the fabric online.
Thnaks for looking and don't forget to click on the link above to see some amazing quilts.

Oh, I would be hard pressed to choose between your prizes. I adore those coasters - the colors! But scraps - I'm in scrap mode lately working on my goofy little hexagons

I used a random number generator thingy, but couldn't get it to copy over here.

Thank you to all that entered, I loved reading your comments and I hope I see some of you back over here again.

I have contacted the winners and will wait until Monday to hear back from them, if I don't I will re-draw.

GIVEAWAY DAY-CLOSED

Sew Mama Sew's huge giveaway is upon us again.
Unfortunately, I didn’t find out until today about it (I’m not sure how I missed it…). I think I emailed them in time to participate, but if not, I’ll conduct a giveaway anyway. It starts today and goes through the 20th. Details will be forthcoming and will involve some yummy Flea Market Fancy, so come back tomorrow and see what I'm offering as a giveaway.
Anyone can enter international and all, just leave me a comment on this post or tomorrow's and for an extra entry, become a follower and leave me a comment about that too (those that are already followers, please add another comment letting me know, it's easier for counting that way).
I will pick the winners a random on the 20th of May.
In the meantime pop on over to Sew Mama Sew and check out what everyone else is giving away.

I'M IN LOVE WITH MY NEW TOY

It's a circle cutter and look at the pretty fabric circles it makes

It makes circles from 4cm (around 1 1/2") up to 22cm (around 8 1/2").

Yes, I'm going to have fun with this one :)

TELL YOUR STORY

Here's a couple more pages. I really like the simplicity of them.

I just got a stack of new papers today to start the boys football mini albums with. I want to keep up to date with these not like the cricket albums where I'm going back 4 years!!!! Thank god I kept records.
